LOOK First . . . . .
One of the problems when dealing with companies which only have an 'online' presence, is knowing who they really are and how well they really deliver!

So,  you want to make money at home and think you have found the 'perfect' work from home job on the internet. It looks great, and you think you could make a lot of money from home with this work from home job.

Before you jump in with both feet consider the following advice to evaluate this work from home job. You could save yourself some grief.

In this day and age of internet and virtual marketing a web site can give a one man show the 'appearance' of a huge corporation.

Reference can be made to various 'impressive' departments which make it sound as if they are a legitimate and reputable company. When in fact, they may simply be some guy or gal by themselves in a small room somewhere with absolutley nothing of substance to what they offer.

They could promise you the moon in the way of products, training and support but may have absolutely no way of delivering on that promise.

What are some of the things to look into BEFORE you start sending money to some online, surefire, work from home business opportunity?

1. A simple check of the domain name with 'whois' will tell you exactly who is the person/s who has registered the domain name.
You can find out where there address is located, how long the domain has been registered etc.etc.
This information may also be blocked from public view, and if it is, you should ask yourself 'why?'.
Use this address to check the owners of a domain name:
http://www.whoisquery.com/.
Just fill in the blanks, and click the appropriate buttons and away you go.

2. What kind of 'verifiable' references can they provide to back up their product and profit claims? Several great 'sounding' testimonials on a web site don't mean a thing. Anyone could have written them and said anything. Can you actually contact the person who has testified?

3. Is the product or service REAL or does it just sound good? Can you actually see yourself using the product or service? Look carefully at what is presented and investigate as much as you can. There are a lot of great sounding ideas, which simply will not do what they claim.

4. If the company you are considering doing business with is selling a tangible product where is their warehouse? How much inventory do they have? How promptly is your product shipped? How can you verify what they say independently? Remember, if you are in the position of collecting someone elses money and then rely on someone else to ship the product 'after' you have paid them, YOU are the one responsible to see YOUR customer gets what they paid for!
Will a simple phone call to the local Chamber of Commerce or BBB where the business is located answer your questions?

5. If someone who is deliberately in the 'scamming' business wants to rip off you and as many customers as you can sell it could be fairly easy! Consider the following scenario:
They simply set up a 'glitzy' looking web site, buy some pay per click traffic and make their presentation to YOU when you land on their site.
The offer looks great, and you think you can make lots of money. You proceed to take prepaid orders from your family and friends and in good faith send the money to your new business partner.
They take your money and promise to deliver the goods, saying it could take 4-6 weeks for delivery. In that length of time they can 'scam' a great number of people and then simply disappear! Vanish...into thin air!
And YOU get left holding the bag with your friends and relatives never getting what they paid YOU for.

You see, it pays to look into who a company REALLY is and verify them as much as possible before you commit to a business relationship with them
Do your homework and save yourself some big headaches.
